Playing is easy: there are four different coloured firework types which correspond to each of the four face buttons on the Xbox 360 controller: red, yellow, blue, and green. Simply hit the correct coloured button as the firework passes over the trigger line. The fireworks get faster and more complex in later songs, meaning that you should limber up your fingers before attempting a game of Boom Boom Rocket!

For every firework you correctly explode, your multiplier bar will fill. When the bar is full, you can activate your Bonus Run (pull either trigger on your 360 controller). This will increase your multiplier to a massive 16x for a limited time, meaning big scores if you use it correctly! However, if you miss any fireworks during your bonus run you'll find that it expires much quicker than normal... don't bow to the pressure!

Remember, you can perform multiple bonus runs per song. Whenever the bar sparkles, pull that trigger!
